Sarah Gotlund is not only a DONA certified doula but also a Certified Lactation Counselor. Sarah received her CLC training from Healthy Children Project Center for Breastfeeding and received highest marks from the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice on both her written exam and practical evaluation. She completes regular continuing education to keep her certification active. We will begin by having you complete a thorough intake form online prior to your appointment. This ensures that every aspect of your unique situation is known. Your private in-home consultation will then be completed to finish your lactation evaluation. Finally you will be given a personalized action plan with steps, recommendations, supporting education, and resources for long term success. |

Start off on the right foot with prenatal lactation education. Follow up with convenient, in home, lactation consultation/s after the birth of your baby. Have every question answered quickly by text, so there is no delay in getting the solutions you need to meet your goals. Including night, weekend, and holiday availability. According to the 2019 CDC Breastfeeding Report Card, around 55% of newborns are exclusively breastfed at 6 weeks. While approximately 95% of Sarah Gotlund Doula Service clients that have had this level of lactation support are exclusively breastfeeding at 6 weeks. Package includes: 1 Prenatal Lactation Class 1-2 Lactation Consultations 7am-10pm/365 Support by Phone Complementary baby scale rental, SNS, specialty pumping supplies, special need feeding products, etc when appropriate. |
